Many of you have subscribed to her newsletter, Letters from an American, or have read her books, like Democracy Awakening, which was a TBR Book Club pick earlier this year. I was honored when she appeared on my podcast to answer TBR readers’ questions about it.
Now, to mark the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, Richardson has launched 250 to 250, a series of short videos celebrating icons of American history.
Heather asked me to contribute a video, and I immediately knew who I wanted to commemorate: the great American humorist Molly Ivins.
