New Mexico Changes Name to “Fuck Trump”
SANTA FE (The Borowitz Report)—Responding to Donald J. Trump’s demand that it change its name to “New America,” on Thursday New Mexico announced that it was renaming itself “Fuck Trump.”
The name-change quickly resulted in a surge in home prices across the state, according to Fuck Trumpan realtors.
“Putting ‘Fuck Trump’ on something immediately raises its value,” Harland Dorrinson of Fuck Trumpan Realty Partners said. “It’s the exact opposite of putting ‘Trump’ on something.”
The rebranding of New Mexico as Fuck Trump drew widespread acclaim across the US, except from states such as New York, Illinois, and Massachusetts who wished they had thought of it first.
