Trump Defends Natalie Harp After She Posts Nuclear Codes on Instagram
WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)— Donald J. Trump lashed out at critics of his aide Natalie Harp on Tuesday after she shared screenshots of the nation’s nuclear codes on her Instagram.
National security experts expressed alarm about Harp’s social media post, which featured a clearly legible image of the nuclear codes adorned with heart and smiley-face emojis.
“Despite what the fake news says, Natalie is doing an amazing job,” Trump said. “That post got millions of likes, from places as far away as Russia, China, and Iran.”
In an unexpected vote of support, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney also defended Harp, telling reporters, “The world is safer if she has the nuclear codes and he doesn’t.”
