Trump Says AI Far Less Likely to Destroy Humanity Than He Is
WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Lashing out at what he called “woke, far-left lunatic AI-haters,” on Tuesday Donald J. Trump told reporters that artificial intelligence “is much less likely to destroy humanity than I am.”
“In the last two years, I tore down the East Wing, turned the Reflecting Pool green, put the Kennedy Center out of business, blew up the Middle East, and put Pete Hegseth in charge of the military and RFK Jr. in charge of health,” he said. “Even on its worst day, AI would never do those things.”
Comparing AI’s potential for destruction with his own, he asked, “Isn’t artificial intelligence better than none at all?”
He accused critics of AI of being “sick and evil,” alleging, “They’re just trying to take attention away from the real threat to humanity: windmills.”
